Good afternoon!

We will be returning to our Tuesday e-News next week. This week, our Advocacy Committee met Wednesday to review several municipal, provincial, and federal initiatives.

Congratulations to our friends with Ladies Who Lead, the Paris and District Chamber of Commerce, and the Workforce Planning Board of Grand Erie and our school boards for their successful events earlier this week. Staff are actively preparing for our sold out golf tournament, however, we are featuring some additional options for golf this week in support of our non-profit members and the children they support in our community. June is Bike Month, and the Chamber looks forward to participating and promoting the benefits of cycling in our community.

Finally, for businesses needing skilled IT labour and open to exploring hiring a newcomer to Canada with some government support, see the opportunity noted below. Additional programming supports such as the Canada Digital Adaption Program and Digital Main Street remain open and accepting applications for businesses to update your digital storefront and online presence, and may use fellow Chamber members to deliver that service.

Please enjoy the weather, and pre-register in advance for our June 13th Business After Hours at Mann’s Distillery!
