Thank you to each of the City of Brantford’s municipal election candidates for their participation in the recording of last week’s debates, and to our volunteers, President Paul Bisanti, Andy Straisfeld from the Advocacy Committee, and Greg Evans, Business Development Coordinator from the Chamber. With a forward focus on building on Brantford’s strengths, we had some of our most engaging debates this year. Readers are encouraged to view the debates when they air on RogersTV, or on the Chamber or Rogers YouTube channels, beginning later this week. We are proud to support the Paris and District Chamber of Commerce Municipal Election event, occurring on Wednesday, October 5th at 6:30 pm at the Paris Sojurn Church, a Meet and Greet with all County and School Board candidates invited.
The Board of Directors and our Committees return from the summer break this month. With the labour shortage, increased focus on work/life balance, and seemingly increasing priorities in our lives, finding space and time for a volunteer commitment can be a challenge. A major focus of Chamber staff post-pandemic is to create an efficient and effective volunteer experience, utilizing technology where possible. For an hour or so a month, please consider volunteering with the Chamber! Contact David for more details
Thank you!
