Spring 2023 has arrived, and our community and the Chamber continue to be industrious at our regular, and new activities. Over the next week, the Chamber will host two events, this evening’s Business After Hours at member Scottlynn Group, from 4:30PM – 6:30PM at 15 Adi Dassler Way, and next Tuesday, our 157th Annual General Meeting, from 5PM – 7PM at The Rope Factory Event Hall. Pre-registration is kindly requested, as a quorum is required for our AGM, and refreshments will be available.
Note a couple of opportunities below – the Canada Digital Adaption Program is available to most small businesses, and several Chamber members are partners in the direct delivery of the Program. If you are looking to update or adapt your e-commerce and digital presence, this program is available through two different streams, and the Chamber can assist with navigating and recommending partners for your business to work with, and take advantage of the $2400 available. Additionally, Chamber member BDC has a significant opportunity for businesses looking for a larger investment in their digital strategy. Please check out those resources.
Brantford-Brant is part of RTO#3, a provincially designated Tourism area. For members participating in the industry or looking to, please engage with the brief opportunity below to help our friends understand the current and prospective Tourism market.
Next week, we will be launching our Chamber Poll series of monthly, topical polls, running for two weeks each month, to quickly capture member opinion on issues of the day. Our experience in distributing and supporting the surveys of our partners, especially over the past year, is that large surveys are losing engagement. Our polls will be part of our engagement strategy, and we will report on the results the second week of each month.
Look forward to hearing from you, and seeing you at one of our events this week!
