Winter has definitely arrived in Brantford-Brant, and the Chamber’s planning for the year is ramping up. Unfortunately, no news as of this writing regarding rapid testing kits, but with the overwhelming demand, staff have been able to prepare plans to roll out distribution as smoothly as possible under the conditions once kits begin to arrive. More information to follow as soon as it is available.
Lots of information below and on our updated website regarding the information and resources available to support business, including digital adaption and e-commerce programs. Please consider taking advantage of many of these free resources to adapt your business to digital – everything from a new website, to social media, to the power of video. The Chamber is meeting with MPP Will Bouma this week, and looks forward to continuing the conversation on supports for business at our MP/MPP event in one short month.
A special thanks and goodbye to our high school co-op student Nathan this week. He has helped with the Rapid Testing Kits program, completed some digitalization work, and a few extra special projects related to his interests in financial planning and the investment industry. Good luck Nathan! We look forward to welcoming another student in February.
Stay warm, and stay safe.
Dave
