Our E-News this week, and for the summer, is being developed by Alex Dow, who is taking over from Olivia Hull to keep our communications and office administration projects running smoothly, we are pleased to welcome her on as the position is updated. Our BHNCDSB co-op student, Ria, will also be joining us as our summer student in July and August, completing some special projects and assisting with our office tasks as well. We look forward to visiting the Hampton Inn and Suites this afternoon for the June Business After Hours, and to our rescheduled golf tournament on June 28th at Copetown Woods. While the summer is quickly approaching, the Chamber has a number of priorities to work on over the summer, as well as seeking to grab some well deserved time off for staff.
Transportation within and around Brantford-Brant remains a key priority of the Chamber, and while in the past this included the Grand River, roads, and highways, the critical infrastructure of bridges has been a focus recently, with multiple bridge strikes over the past six months. Alternatively, June is Bike Month, and the Chamber is proud to support Bike Month 2022 in the City of Brantford. Look to replace a vehicle trip or two (or more) on your bike or walking in June.
Look forward to seeing you soon!
