The Chamber was pleased to participate in the Brant Agri-Food Forum last week, hosted at Chamber member Towneplace Suites by Marriott, and met informally with County of Brant councillors and staff, learned about some of the opportunities and challenges impacting that industry, including the significance of the labour and housing issues that many other sectors are facing.
A brief reminder to invest five minutes of your time in the Ontario Economic Survey to assist the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and your local, and regional Chambers in gathering data to reflect the outlook of the business community for 2023.
Finally, thank you for those of you who read our weekly messages! A special opportunity in the fine print today – the Chamber was approached and agreed this morning to host a Fall Economic Statement Roundtable with a federal minister on Thursday, November 10th at the Chamber Boardroom from 10:30-11:30 am, in person only. A number of invitations have gone out and space is limited; however, please contact David if you are interested in more information and/or attending.
