Chamber of Commerce Brantford-Brant COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Events and Meetings:
Events, programs, and meetings of the Chamber of Commerce Brantford-Brant are subject to Ontario’s Enhanced Vaccine Certificate program effective September 22, 2021. These guidelines will manage access to event and meeting venues for patrons and are out of direct control of the Chamber. The Chamber as an event organizer is, or may be seen to be, responsible for enforcing the guidelines.
All eligible employees, contractors, volunteers, students and attendees at Chamber events, meetings, and programs must demonstrate proof-of-vaccination of a Health Canada approved COVID-19 vaccine as outlined by the latest available information from the Government of Ontario unless it is medically contraindicated. This policy is in place for an undefined period of time, as long as the risks and impacts of COVID-19 are present. The policy will be reviewed on a regular basis and amended as required, as the information and data provided by the Government of Ontario regarding COVID-19 and vaccine certificates evolve.
In addition, the Chamber offices and boardroom is an event and meeting space. Therefore, all in-person attendees for meetings at the Chamber of Commerce office must demonstrate proof-of-vaccination as noted above. The Boardroom can accommodate hybrid meetings and all staff will be trained to facilitate hybrid meetings.
PLEASE NOTE: You must register for every event/program you plan to attend including Business After Hours.
