Welcome to 2021, which will be a year like nothing we have experienced yet. As noted, this is the first edition of our newly designed e-news, which will be complemented shortly by the arrival this week of our newly re-designed, and evolving, InTouch Magazine. In the late fall, the Board invested in a new strategic plan and looks forward to finalizing, sharing, executing, and building on this plan over the next few years as your Chamber becomes more responsive to the rapidly changing business environment. During the next few weeks of the Ontario provincial lockdown, we want to hear from you about how you are adjusting, the challenges you are facing, and how your investment in the Chamber can help you emerge within 2021 as a stronger business. Chamber staff has planned for over 50 meetings, activities, and events rolling into 2021, planning from a base of a safe, virtual environment. We look forward to continuing to advocate for a successful environment for business, to celebrate our Business Excellence Awards nominees, and to develop innovative programming and activities to engage our membership and the broader business community. Please reach out with how we can help you, and/or your ideas to improve opportunities for business in the County of Brant, the City of Brantford, and the surrounding communities in our region.
Look forward to seeing you virtually this winter and spring, and in-person as soon as safe to do so.
