Access to Student Talent

The Chamber has a unique relationship with our education partners, and is proud to support their efforts to engage students in the community to support their learning, and to assist businesses in their work. As at the end of this summer, the Chamber will have hosted 13 students in different capacities, from Grade 11 writers to post graduate program staff since 2019. We host a page on our website that is continuously updated with how to access student talent in Brantford-Brant through our post-secondary partners at the University of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier University, and Conestoga College, Six Nations Polytechnic, and our secondary partners in the school boards and W. Ross MacDonald. One channel for next semester’s students is the Community Service Learning Program at Laurier, with many shorter-duration placements in health, child development and psychology.

Each post-secondary institution also has Career Services departments for posting jobs, and information on funding assistance when required.

Contact the Chamber for assistance in finding the student position that is right for your needs
